I dont know how I forgot to post yesterday. Yesterday I did an A.M. and a P.M. workout. I did the 20 min preset on my treadmill.

I only posted one picture even though I took both the morning and evening workout pictures. Since I am doing the preset, they both came out the same.



I wake up to the best supportive text messages every morning. (Thanks) But today, I woke up supper early (a little bit before 4 a.m.) and couldn't get back to sleep. Maybe the lack of rest lead to the horrible migraine I have been fighting all morning.

With all that said, of course I didn't workout this morning. I will try to get a workout in today if I kick the migraine.

Question....I have been looking for a really good ab video that doesn't require me to be a fitness expert or a dancing pro. I have my 8 Mins Abs and I like it, but it's over to fast for me. (Yes, I know, that sounds crazy right!) I have a few more that I am not feeling. Any good ideas???

10-29-08 Workout

Today I walked on the treadmill today. I pray I don't get bored to quickly on the treadmill. I really need to get some new videos.

I walked 3 miles. As long as I have my MP3 player, I am good to go! I had issues with my MP3 player today and it slowed me down. I normally do 4 miles in an hour with no issues. (Yeah, I was slacking today!) A big goal for this challenge will be able to post that pic showing 5 miles in an hour or less. I can't wait!!

I also too my measurements today. I sooo dont want to post but here we go:

Hips: 38 1/2 (I just lost 3.5 inches so I am not looking to change this.)
Waist: 33 This is my challenge. I want to change this!!
Bust: 37

My Eating Habits

I wanted to share my eating habits with all that wanted to know. I have tried a lot of things and the only thing that really worked for me was eating sensibly but allowing myself at least one off day to eat something I really really love. (Potatoes, Blue Bell Dutch Chocolate Ice Cream, or a slice of Pizza.)

  • I do not eat anything white. Rice, potatos, flour products, sugar, bread, etc. I avoid all carbs except fruit.
  • I eat a lot of fruit and veggies. I make fresh juice from a juicer and I make smoothies (In the blender).
  • I eat more chicken and fish than any other meats.
  • I eat a lot of nuts!
  • I eat eggs.
  • I do not drink soft drinks at all.
  • KEY FACTOR for me was avoiding Fast Food!!!
It really is pretty simple. I honestly do not do anything out of the norm. I also do a body cleanse (detoxing) about three times a year. That is it.

Double Work Day

Today I did both of my workouts.

This morning I did ab and arms workouts.
Tonight I did an hour on the treadmill.

My current goal is 5 miles in one workout.

New Challenge "Two A Day"

I just started a new challenge we will call "Two A Day." It is simply working out twice a day for how ever many days a week you choose. I am doing Two A Day for 4 days a week. One of my besties started this challenge and I had to join in. (Plus it didn't help we had all these ladies claiming they already have the callenge in the bag!! Naaa, chickas! lol)

I will add I am very busy. I am a full time student taking a very heavy course load, a full time employee, a mom, a wife, and a good friend. So if I can make the time to do this, anyone can!! Wish me well. I start tomorrow!!
